Some would argue that no one could know for sure that they are going to Heaven. However, God tells us specifically and simply how we can know for sure that we can go to Heaven. The Bible says in 1 John 5:13: “These things have I written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.” |
There is absolutely nothing we can do to work or earn our way to Heaven. Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Notice the words ‘through faith.’ Faith in what? Faith in a Savior. God’s divine plan is that we would need and trust a Savior. Because of God’s great love, He has provided for us. |

In John 3:16 we read of that provision. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Jesus came and died for our sins. He paid the penalty for us. He gave His life on Calvary’s cross, He was buried in a tomb, and He rose from the dead. He now lives so that we may have eternal life. Isn’t that wonderful news? All of these acts were God’s part. Now your part is simply believe and receive. Romans 10:9 “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. “ |
“Dear Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner. Please forgive me and come into my heart. I accept your gift of eternal life and right now, the best I know how, I trust you and only you to be my Savior and take me to heaven when I die. Amen”
You are now part of the Family of God. I want to encourage you to unite with a bible believing church so you may learn more about Jesus, and be encouraged by fellow believers. I hope you will email us about your decision. God Bless You! |

The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” So you see, God views us as sinners. No matter how good we think we may be, God has a higher standard to which we do not measure up. God says in Hebrews 9:27 that He will judge sin: “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” There is a penalty for your sin, and Romans 6:23a tells us of it. “For the wages of sin is death.” This death means spending eternity in Hell; forever separated from God. |
